Barcelona is a magnet for the fashion conscious, as there is no shortage of designer outlets. Mainstream stores can be found on the shopping “axis” looking like the hands of a clock set at a quarter to five. The diagonal is jammed with places were your credit cards will cry out in exhaustion. The best shopping areas are Passeig de Gracia, the Bulevard Rosa arcade and the Barri Gotic streets.
